I would like to post on here all the history that I find for the surrounding area. I seem to come up with a lot that I have been posting on my Facebook page. I should put it all in one place for safe keeping and this might just be the place for it. First I would like to say that I was born and brought up in a small town called Columbia in the state of Maine.
My dad Orrin L. Worcester son of Ronie & Ralph Worcester was born in the same house that I was on Epping Road, my mother Glenis Grant daughter of Leeman & Angie Grant came from Columbia Falls, just across the river from my dad's house. He told me that he remembered the day my mother was born as she was a twin. He then courted her in her late teens, by going across the river in the winter when it was frozen over. The difference in age was only ten years. They were married 50 years.
Only seven children survived out of nine to adulthood. At this time we are all alive and hopefully well. My brothers are Philip, Thomas, Bruce & John, sisters are Charlene & Phyllis.
